POSTCARD PORTRAITS

Welcome to “Postcard Portraits” - an online exhibition of the LWRA’s community initiative - the Lanc West Portrait Project.

The exhibition features photographic portraits and stories from our Lancaster West Estate community, shot by photojournalist Fiona Campbell in March 2021 during London’s third lockdown.

Each photograph was transformed into postcards for the participants to keep and send to friends and family.

The purpose of the Lanc West Portrait Project is to celebrate the residents of our estate and their unique stories. We hope that everyone who took part enjoyed connecting with others and is looking forward to sending postcards to their friends and loved ones – and even getting a few postcards back!

The project has been created by the Lancaster West Residents’ Association and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
